SAPP once again a target of dirty tactics

KOTA KINABALU, May 1, 2018: The Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) appears to be once again a target of dirty tactics as campaigning for the 14th General Election enters its third day.

SAPP deputy president Melanie Chia said a video clip taken inside the Maksak Hall during the April 28 nomination day was another example of how certain groups were resorting to smear tactics against the party.

KOTA KINABALU, April 29, 2018: A walkabout at the popular Gaya Street Fair by Datuk Yong Teck Lee and other SAPP candidates on Sunday became an opportunity for Kota Kinabalu folks to air their grouses about their former elected representatives.

Their main complaint was the ineffectiveness that their former YBs - PKR’s Christina Liew of Api Api and KK MP Jimmy Wong.

“Their complaints was that their elected representatives were never around to hear people's concerns,” said Yong, who is contesting the Kota Kinabalu Parliamentary seat, after the walkabout.

KOTA KINABALU, April 29, 2018: Sabahans have all to gain by backing the local-based Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) that has never wavered in its struggle for what is rightfully due to the state.

That was the message as SAPP, a Gabungan Sabah (GS) component had, as it kicked off its campaign at a ceramah at the Foh Sang commercial area on Saturday.

SAPP president Datuk Yong Teck Lee, who is contesting the Kota Kinabalu Parliamentary seat, said among the party’s core mission is to stand and speak for Sabahans no matter how tough the obstacles were for the party.

KOTA KINABALU, April 27, 2018: Local opposition pact Gabungan Sabah and its component SAPP is kicking off its campaign for the Kota Kinabalu area with a gathering at the Foh Sang commercial area on Saturday.

SAPP director of operations Melanie Chia said the 7pm gathering was to among others introduce GS’ candidates for the Kota Kinabalu area.

They include party president Datuk Yong Teck Lee who is making his first electoral foray into the Kota Kinabalu Parliamentary seat.

Unique Logo Sharing among Gabungan Sabah parties good example

KOTA KINABALU, April 26, 2018: Local opposition Gabungan Sabah (GS) is confident that its unique logo sharing approach will yield positive results in the Sepanggar Parliamentary as well as its Karambunai and Inanam state seas.

GS director of operations for Sepanggar Datuk Eric Majimbun said the logo sharing among SAPP, Parti Harapan and STAR was the best example of a close relationship among Sabah local parties.
